Jet2 Opens Summer 2028 Bookings — A Year Earlier Than Usual

Jet2 has officially launched its Summer 2028 flights and holidays, marking its earliest-ever release and giving UK travellers unprecedented time to plan ahead. The programme is huge: 20.9 million seats, 533 routes, and 64 destinations stretching from Easter through to the October half‑term.

The early launch comes in response to strong demand from customers who are already asking to book 2028 holidays. Jet2’s CEO Steve Heapy says early bookers will secure the best hotels, room types, and peak‑season dates before they sell out.

What’s New for 2028?

Jet2’s 2028 programme includes two brand‑new routes:

Belfast International → Bourgas (Bulgaria) – weekly Wednesday service

Bristol → Enfidha (Tunisia) – weekly Tuesday service

These additions expand Jet2’s reach into the Balkans and North Africa.

Huge Choice Across Europe & Beyond

Travellers can choose from destinations across:

Spain & the Canaries (Alicante, Málaga, Tenerife, Lanzarote, etc.)

Balearics (Ibiza, Menorca, Mallorca)

Greece – 16 destinations including Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Santorini, Skiathos, and more

Turkey, Italy, Cyprus, Croatia, Montenegro, Malta, France, Austria, Morocco, Egypt, Portugal

Greece alone accounts for one in four destinations in the 2028 programme.

Airport Highlights

Jet2 is offering expanded programmes from all 14 UK bases. Examples:

Manchester – 64 destinations, 347 weekly flights at peak

Birmingham – 63 destinations, 241 weekly flights

Leeds Bradford – 50 destinations, nearly 2 million seats, 192 weekly flights

Glasgow – 33 destinations, 1.3 million seats, 111 weekly flights

Capacity increases range from 4% to 7% compared with Summer 2027.
