Wizz Air to Launch Five New Routes from Luton

Wizz Air has announced the launch of six new leisure routes from London Luton Airport, expanding its network from the base ahead of the summer season.

The new services follow the airline’s acquisition of airport slots vacated by TUI after the tour operator relocated its Luton operations to London Gatwick.

Among the additions is an all-new route to Yerevan, Armenia, marking Wizz Air’s first direct connection between the Armenian capital and Luton. The airline will also introduce flights to Alicante, Lyon, Corfu, Faro and Turin.

To support the expansion, Wizz Air will base an additional Airbus A321neo aircraft at Luton, increasing its total fleet at the airport to 15 aircraft.

The new routes are scheduled to begin between 12 and 13 June. Services to Lyon and Turin will operate year-round, offering passengers additional options for winter and ski travel.
