Jet2.com Expands Ski Flights for Winter 2027/28
Jet2.com has unveiled a major expansion of its ski flight programme for Winter 2027/28, putting almost 470,000 seats on sale across 43 routes from 12 UK airports to Europe’s top Alpine gateways.
Jet2.com is gearing up for one of its biggest winter seasons yet, responding to strong demand from skiers and snowboarders by launching its Winter 2027/28 ski schedule earlier than ever.
The programme runs from December 2027 throughout the winter, offering weekend, long weekend and mid week options designed around peak travel times.
Eight Major Ski Gateways
Travellers can fly to the most popular Alpine hubs across France, Switzerland, Austria and Italy:
Chambéry – Geneva – Grenoble – Innsbruck – Lyon – Salzburg – Turin – Verona
These airports provide access to world class resorts including Courchevel, Tignes, Verbier, Zermatt, Chamonix, Alpe d’Huez, Avoriaz, Mayrhofen, Obertauern and the Dolomites.
Expanded UK Coverage
Jet2.com’s network spans 12 UK airports, with Manchester offering the widest choice, flights to all eight ski destinations. Birmingham and Edinburgh each serve six, while London Gatwick and Stansted offer five apiece.
Geneva remains the most widely served route, with flights from 11 UK airports, followed by Chambéry and Salzburg.
This broad coverage gives travellers across the UK more flexibility than ever, whether planning a quick weekend on the slopes or a longer Alpine escape.
More Seats, More Flexibility, More Ski Holidays
The airline has significantly increased capacity, putting almost 470,000 seats on sale, its largest ski offering to date. This expansion includes:
Perfectly timed departures for peak ski travel
22 kg ski carriage allowance plus 10 kg hand luggage
Tailored baggage options for winter sports gear
Improved fleet efficiency, supported by Jet2.com’s growing Airbus A321neo fleet
A Boost for Regional Airports
Airports such as Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Birmingham, and Manchester benefit from expanded frequencies and new weekend options.
Glasgow Airport, for example, celebrates enhanced links to Geneva, giving Scottish travellers easier access to the French and Swiss Alps.
Early Booking Advantage
By releasing the programme well ahead of the season, Jet2.com allows travellers to secure peak season ski holidays early, ideal for families, groups, and winter sports enthusiasts planning ahead for 2027/28.
