Virgin reveals Manchester to Vegas restart

Manchester will be once again linked to Sin City on Virgin Atlantic.

Las Vegas flights are returning from next year as Virgin Atlantic announces the latest route from its home in the North.

It will offer three flights a week to Las Vegas from 2 June 2024, with tickets going on sale next month.

The route makes Manchester the only airport outside London to fly directly there.

Flights will operate on Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.

The Las Vegas flights join routes to Orlando, New York and Atlanta already available at Manchester Airport.

Chris Woodroofe, Manchester Airport MD, said: “It’s hugely exciting to see the return of Virgin Atlantic’s direct service to Las Vegas, which has always been one of our most popular long-haul routes.”

“As the UK’s global gateway in the North, it’s great to work with airline partners like Virgin Atlantic.”

Economy fares start from £770 per person.

The route was halted during the pandemic.

As well as its multitude of city highlights, Vegas unlocks America’s West.

This includes the iconic Grand Canyon, Yosemite National Park and the Pacific Highway, plus the cities of San Diego and Los Angeles.

Virgin Atlantic also just announced it is relaunching Dubai flights from London Heathrow from 28 October 2023 through March.
