Passengers were forced to scramble from their seats on a British Airways flight after a scorpion was spotted in the cabin.
It happened just before the transatlantic flight from Austin, Tx was due to land at London Heathrow.
Cabin crew conducted a hunt for the creature but couldn’t locate it.
They only had about 30 minutes before the British Airways flight was due to land.
The scorpion had been spotted by two passengers.
Passengers were moved to other vacant seats and it landed safely without incident.
British Airways hasn’t said whether the scorpion was later found.
“We’re sorry for any concern caused by this highly unusual event,” BA said.
