Responding to Malta’s inclusion on the green list, easyJet has launched another new route from the North West to the holiday island.
Flights and holidays from Liverpool will launch from 25 July, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Sundays throughout the summer.
The airline has already launched two new routes from Malta to Bristol and Luton, which will now take off a week earlier than initially planned in response to customer demand.
Flights from Bristol to Malta will launch on 2 July, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, and London Luton to Malta will launch on 4 July.
Flights are now on sale.
“The brand new route from Liverpool to Malta, means we now have over million seats operating to current European green list destinations this summer,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager.
The airline has boosted capacity to meet demand as more destinations are added to the green list, including Palma, Mahon and Ibiza in the Balearic Islands as well as Madeira.
The airline has now put over 116,000 extra seats on sale for this summer across new and existing routes to green destinations.
