Jet2 is bracing for its busiest weekend ever.
Over 170,000 customers will travel with Jet2 and Jet2 holidays this Saturday and Sunday.
It will operate more than 800 flights in total over the weekend, to and from over 60 destinations in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands.
On Saturday alone, it has 450 flights.
Jet2 says Majorca, Tenerife and Faro are the three most popular destinations this weekend. The Balearics, Canaries, Mainland Spain, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Malta are also popular with holidaymakers.
This year, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays put on its biggest ever summer programme, with 15.5 million seats on sale.
That is a capacity increase of over 7% compared to summer 2022.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “This marks the beginning of the peak summer season, so this time of year is traditionally always a busy time for us.”
